🧩 Synopsis

When an elderly businessman named Rajendran confesses to a long-buried crime on a Facebook live broadcast—moments before killing himself—it sends shockwaves through the highland village of Malakkappara. He reveals that a woman was murdered and buried beneath the forest floor in 1985 during the filming of a Malayalam movie.

Disgraced police officer Vivek Gopinath is transferred to the local station to handle the case. As his team uncovers a skeleton and an anklet at the scene, they begin to unravel a chilling story that connects lost dreams, movie sets, religious institutions, and a cold-blooded cover-up that has spanned generations.

With support from an ex-nun, an aging actor, and a vlogger historian, Vivek pieces together the face and fate of Rekha—a junior artist whose passion for cinema ended in betrayal. His search leads him to powerful men, hidden motives, and a shocking revelation: the killer still walks free—and closer to Vivek than he ever imagined.
